Dissatisfaction is common, so we can learn from the Psalmist's life regarding achieving real satisfaction that comes from having God's unfailing love.
Yes, God is more than able to satisfy us, provided we pray regularly about it. The Lord said, "Ask and you shall receive..." and we must ask.
Below are some of the promises that we can meditate upon and pray when we feel dissatisfaction rise in our beings about our material needs. But we must always remember that true satisfaction comes from experiencing God's presence continually.
The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.(Isaiah 58:11)
I will satisfy the priests with abundance, and my people will be filled with my bounty," declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 31:14)
I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint. (Jeremiah 31:25)
Remember that...."The Lord who sustained us yesterday is able to sustain and satisfy us today and tomorrow, so all glory be to him."
And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
